Jurassic 5 - What's Golden

Released in 2002 and now regarded as an old-school anthem. Hit play and vibe out.

Well, it's the verbal Herman Munster,
The word enhancer, sick of phony mobsters controllin' the dance floor.
I been in dark places, catch you when you stark naked,
Your heart races as we pump you for your chart spaces.

Clipse - Momma I'm So Sorry
From Hell Hath No Fury (classic album btw), we get this gem from the brothers Thornton. Back in the height of the coke rap, Malice and Push lace this Pharrell produced cut raw lyrics.

I philosophize about glocks and keys,
Niggaz call me young black Socrates, West Indies
Bitch drop to knees quick,
With dreams of being a rich man's bitch
Feel sorry for niggaz, pull triggers and they shit click,
So many bullets jammed in my shit call me lead fist.

The Outfield - Your Love
Yeah so it's not rap. Still is dope. Nothing like a great summer anthem.

Cam'Ron - Down & Out (feat. Kanye West & Syleena Johnson)
Old classic Killa joint from back when Kanye was more of a producer then a rapper. Great production. Great hook. One of Cam'Ron's best songs.

Observe, cock and spray
Hit you from a block away
Drinking sake on a Suzuki, we in Osaka Bay.

DJ Revolution - The Anthem 2010 (feat. Locksmith, Kam Moye, Crooked I, Tech N9ne, Tajai, RZA, Ras Kass & B-Real)
With a bunch of respected MC's on this track, this remake makes the par set by the 1999 version. Any song that has Locksmith x Crooked I x Tech N9ne definitely deserves some attention.

Ahh ok. Melli Mel, Makavelli,
Weezy, Jeezy, Kan-yeezy and Bun B.
Eazy E, EMPD, Cube & Run DMC.
Chuck D, Jay-Z, AZ, Lil' Kim, Eminem & Kool G.
Black Thought, Mac Dre, Snoop & Kweli.
Dropped all these names cause hip hop ain't all about me.

Game - Bang Along
Game has a habit of releasing really good songs that don't actually find their way onto any official project he releases. This is one of those tracks. He talks about his childhood and things he saw and experienced growing up.

Fuck it I ain't goin lie homie, I used to do the Hammer dance,
With steel toes on and hammer pants, fucked up right?
That's when my pops had to wait,
He had the blow while I was blowing in Nintendo tapes.
