Conrad Murray Sentenced To 4 Years for Death of Michael Jackson

Looks like Conrad Murray finally caught the charge. This is what CBS had to say:

Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter earlier this month after a six-week trial that presented the most detailed account yet of Jackson’s final hours, and how the 58-year-old cardiologist administered the powerful anesthetic propofol to treat the superstar’s chronic insomnia. Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor chastised Murray for a “horrific violation of trust” in caring for the pop star and called the heavy use of propofol “medicine madness.”

Nicki took to Twitter to release the official title and the release date of her sophomore album. I'm sure the album is going to be pretty damn good.

R.I.P. Heavy D

According to many sources, rapper and entertainer Heavy D has passed away today at the age of 44. He was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead around 1PM. Last month, Heavy D was the closing performance at the BET Hip Hop Awards. No cause of death has yet been confirmed. From the Straight Fresh crew, rest in peace to hip hop legend Heavy D.

Eminem & DMX Working On Collaborative Project

Interesting news. VERY interesting. Let me let veteran producer Cave explain what the situation is:

"That right there, I’m going to be honest with you, it was just an idea we were throwing around and it kind of just stuck — I probably should give all the credit to that to my man Ali and [Def Jam executive] Randy Acker. They got ties with Marshall [Eminem] and they were like, ‘We’re good with Marshall and we’re good with X. How can we make this record happen?’ To my knowledge, they’ve already had the phone conversation, they’ve already spoke, everything is good. They talked on a real level. I don’t want to get too deep into it but they’ve already spoken and the record is in the making. We’re just waiting for all of the particulars to come flying. We’re going to see hip-hop history."

This shit would be mad interesting. We'll have to see what develops.
