Previous: Week 1 | Week 2
Freeway - Escalators
First up is a Freeway track accompanied by heavenly production by Jake One and a B.I.G. sample on the hook. Although this wasn't included on their collaborative album Stimulus Package (one of the best albums of 2010), it is worth your guys' attention.

I tell the truth on my raps and my bars fly,And you can vision what I'm sayingCall it pictionary.Y'all on barbiturates and other stuff,People must want the picture young on they obituary. We do 100 yard passes call it Hail MaryBefore the BlackBerry devices they was paging us.Cause we got it there even when they made it roughYeah, matter of fact that's the reason why we made it here.
Eminem - Session One (feat. Slaughterhouse)
This is one of two bonus tracks from Recovery featuring the 3/4 of the Slaughter (Joey couldn't get on the track because of label conflictions) and production but Just Blaze. If you've never listened to Slaughterhouse please hit play now or X the window and never come back. The verses on this joint are insane.
I ball like Iguodala, I bear more arms than six koalas. As soon as I draw, get sent to AllahBilinguist don, I kill with the tongue, I'm Atilla the HunI'm Genghis Khan, I'm a genius spawn.I pillage your village for fun, an egregious conA syllable gun, real as they come, Long Beach Saddam!

DJ Khaled - Grammy Family (feat. Kanye West, John Legend & Consequence)
A song off of Khaled's debut solo album, features a few G.O.O.D. artists and is one of my favorite songs by him. He should go back to making joints with quality artists like this instead of ones that are essentially the same (I'm So Hood, Welcome To My Hood, Out Here Grindin' and the list goes on). The best part about this song is that he doesn't actually say anything on it. That means not being bombarded with "We the Best!" and other similar comments throughout the song...call it a tagless track.

Yeezy's got a got a vision that's clearer then Evian,Used to hit the radio them faggots ain't let me on,Until Khaled turned up the volume,Hit the club with it come on homie they wildin',Nas done told you come on homie we major,Really doe told you hoes where we stayin',G.O.O.D. music up in this bitch now quit playin'.
Dilated Peoples - Caffeine
Straight up...you can't find a better example of pure hip hop. "Caffeine" is from Dilated Peoples' third album and it's a shame that great tracks like this get over shadowed by their more commercial single This Way (not to say that that isn't a great song because it is).
The mic's cocked back, a full clip,I don't preach, I rap, I'm on stage this ain't a pulpit. This is it, we're up and running, torches lit,Prepare for marathons, we don't sprint,I save my crew's name for last, injections lethal,It's LA's finest y'all, it's Dilated Peoples.

DJ Kay Slay - Heard of Us (Remix) (feat. Jadakiss, Bully, Sheek Louch, Styles P, Bun B, Papoose, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo & Ray J)
Impressive line up hmm? Slay gets the Unit, The L.O.X. and a few others to help him remix a song from his album More Then A DJ. With a Shakira sample used for the beat, it's full of nothing but hard hitting punchlines.
How you gonna shoot a nigga in his calf muscle you don't kill,Your bullets go to the Cavs like Shaquille O'Neal.Yeah they got grams but they grams just ain't right,My grams is like a hammerhead shark, great white.Think you hot cause they log on to your fake site?I wanna see if they can log on to your grave site.

Mac Miller - Don't Mind If I Do
My favorite part about this one, from Mac's mixtape K.I.D.S., is the beat. Great production on this one, using a sped up "Fireflies" beat that integrates well with the drums. Definitely #MostDope.
But no, only the most dope with me,Other fools homo, Roy and Siegfried. No disrespect though,I gotta get that cigarette flowFor the green pesto, presto.
