Songs of the Week (September 10)

This week's songs (and the escapades that will/have been going on this weekend) is brought to you by the struggle beer Busch Lite. We got some good ass joints for you on this Saturday, including a 7 minute "In Da Club" freestyle off the dome that you guys must check out. Hit the jump to dive in and check out last week's songs here.

Wale - Bait [prod. Tone P]
I haven't honestly listened to The Eleven One Eleven Theory mixtape, but this is one of the joints I did hear and it's really dope. Production is on point.

Girl stop being fallacious, this Mercedes is spacious.

Kanye West - Welcome To Heartbreak (feat. Kid Cudi) [prod. Plain Pat]
A lot of people did not like the 808's album, but IMO it was a dope release if you had an open mind. This is my favorite joint from the project. Ye drops some real bars.

He said his daughter got a brand new report card,
All I got was a brand new sports car.

Kendrick Lamar - No Make-Up (Her Vice) (feat. Colin Munroe) [prod. Sounwave]
I've been saying this for months: Kendrick's Section.80 is insane. Really good. You guys have to give this a listen if you call yourself any sort of hip hop fan. This is a track that isn't my TOP favorite, but I feel like this could be one of the more radio friendly hits from the project.

From your lips, all the way to your eyebrows,
It's the beauty in her,
But when the make-up occur
I don't see it, all I see is a blur.

Immortal Technique - In Da Club Freestyle
Immortal murks this beat. He brings his politically influenced lyrics to a club hit instrumental for 7 full minutes. You guys gotta check this out.

I'm the illest Latino, I never had to buy an album back like Benzino,
You know I'm sick with the flow, spittin' it slow,
Ey...I have to go to the bathroom, I made a scramble,
I lost 10 pounds, and I don't even gamble.

David Banner & 9th Wonder - Slow Down (feat. Heather Victoria) [prod. 9th Wonder]
Honestly, the sample on this track makes it. David Banner could just not even drop a single bar and it would still be a dope song. Props to 9th Wonder.
